If you access us via fararays.com, this policy applies equally.
By using the Site or Services, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit personal information.

Vendors we use to run our Services (hosting, analytics, email/CRM, messaging).
Social and messaging tools you ask us to integrate (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Business Profile, Google Maps).

2) How we use your information
Provide & improve Services: build, host, customise, and maintain your website; set up tools you request.

Operations & security: troubleshooting, preventing spam/fraud, enforcing terms.
Marketing (B2B only): with your consent or as permitted by law; you can opt out anytime.
Legal compliance: responding to lawful requests or obligations.

3) Legal bases (how we’re allowed to process data)
Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of:
Consent (e.g., you submit a form, join WhatsApp chat).
Contract (we need the data to deliver your project/support).
Legitimate interests (running, securing, and improving our Services).
Legal obligations (where applicable).
We aim to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (as and when in force) and other applicable laws. If you are in the EU/UK, we process data in line with GDPR/UK GDPR principles.

4) Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share with:
Service providers: hosting, email/sms/WhatsApp tools, analytics, error monitoring, payment processors, contractors assisting your project—only as needed to provide the Services, under confidentiality.
At your direction: third-party tools you want on your site (e.g., Google Maps, WhatsApp buttons, appointment tools).

Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your info may transfer with notice where required.
Some partners may be located outside India; where we transfer data, we use reasonable safeguards.

5) Cookies & analytics
We use:
Essential cookies: required for the Site to function.
Analytics cookies: to understand site usage (e.g., page views, device types).
You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may limit functionality.

6) Data retention
Lead & enquiry data: typically up to 24 months after last contact (or as required by law).
Client project data: while the contract is active and for a reasonable period afterwards (e.g., 12–36 months) for support, backups, or legal obligations.
Logs & security data: typically up to 12 months.
We may retain data longer if needed for legal claims, accounting, or required by law/regulator.

7) Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (secure hosting, access controls, encryption in transit where applicable). However, no method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) Patient data & sensitive health information
We are not a medical records system. Do not send individual patient medical records, prescriptions, or other sensitive health data through our general contact forms, email, or WhatsApp.
If your website needs to collect patient information (e.g., appointment requests), we will help set up appropriate forms and advise on safer handling, but you (the clinic/doctor) are the data controller for your patient data.
Where special handling is required, we will enter into a separate written agreement covering roles, security, and responsibilities.

Subject to applicable law, you may:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Delete your data (where no longer needed).
Withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
Object to/limit certain processing.
To exercise your rights, contact us at support@faraways.com. We may need to verify your identity.
If you are in India, you may have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (as and when fully in force). If you are in the EU/UK, you may also have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

10) Children’s privacy
Our Site and Services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us to remove it.
